CHAMOISic, il festival di “altra musica in alta quota“ diretto dal trombettista Giorgio Li Calzi, accende quest’anno la sua quattordicesima candelina e festeggia con un cartellone di artisti internazionali, produzioni originali e prime italiane: 15 concertitutti ad ingresso gratuito, diffusi in 7 Comuni ed Enti della Valle d’Aosta dal 2 luglio al 14 agosto oltre alle 3 giornate full immersion nellaPerla Alpina Chamois il 21, 22 e 23 luglio.  

Il tema di questa edizione è “VIVENTE”, per testimoniare alcuni aspetti della vita che resiste al predominio antropico, della vita che non è solo legata alla specie animale notoriamente più evoluta. Proprio per sottolineare l’importanza della musica come forma d’arte in grado di connettere attraverso un’esperienza emotiva condivisa, è stato pensato un evento rivolto a un pubblico di cani, accompagnati dai loro compagni umani.   Il programma 2023 vuole collocarsi, come da tradizione, fuori da ogni logica commerciale, confermando il legame con la musica contemporanea, sperimentale, elettronica, improvvisativa, della tradizione e perseverando nell’accostare differenti linguaggi musicali.

CHAMOISic is the only (free) music festival in Italy where it is possible to listen to experimental, electronic and jazz music, in a unique landscape environment, as Chamois(1850 mt), Matterhorn valley, is the only village in Italy reachable by cable car or on foot, where cars can’t circulate.  For its 12th edition, the festival is placed in 11 other villages/cities of the regions Valled’Aosta and Piemonte.

CHAMOISic è l’unico (free) festival italiano che colloca musica sperimentale, elettronica e jazz in un contesto naturalistico davvero d’eccezione: infatti Chamois (Ao), a 1815mt nella valle del Cervino, è l’unico comune d’Italia in cui le auto non possono circolare, raggiungibile in funivia. Giunto alla sua dodicesima edizione, il festival si estende per 11 concerti oltre Chamois, nei comuni della Valle D’Aosta e Piemonte.
